Ramadan
“Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”
(Tirmidhi)
Eid
Whilst Eid is a happy occasion for many Muslims around the world, it is important we remember those who will not be able to celebrate it as they would wish, due to their poverty. NEED Charity strive to bring joy back into their lives by purchasing new clothes, arranging gifts for Orphans and other fun activities.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) ordained Zakat al Fitr to purify the fasting person from indecent words or actions, and to provide food for the needy. It is accepted as zakah for the person who gives it before the Eid prayer; but it is a mere sadaqah for the one who gives it after the prayer.
