One of the poorest
countries in the world
Madagascar
With a national income of 10 billion dollars and a per capita income of less than 500 dollars, Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world. Although the exact figures are not known, it is estimated that more than 70% of the country’s population lives below the poverty line and more than half of the population is below the extreme poverty line. The country’s economy is in a major crisis due to political instability, foreign interventions, US and IMF policies, practices from the colonial period, monopolization of capital, difficulties in international trade due to being an island country, and many other problems.
Especially during our visit to Madagascar in October 2022, we saw that the country needs water the most and most urgently. After visiting the deep water wells we dug in Madagascar, we witnessed how useful they are and how relieved they are to the people of the region. And so we started our work to build water wells. We also visited the mosque and orphan homes we built in Madagascar. They conveyed their thanks to all our donors for the education support projects and food distribution we have done in the region.

Distributing Eid Clothes to Orphan Children in Madagascar
Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).
